Can music set or impact a relationship ?

Category : Life

Ever heard a couple say that a song is ‘their song’ ? Does having that ‘song’ make their relationship stronger compared to a couple without a ‘song’ ?

Is it true that music can make a mood or make a person feel a certain way ? Does music really have an affect on a person ? Music matching deep moods can release emotions: purging and cleansing. Music can provide deep, thrilling emotional experiences, particularly while performing.

Music can make a person recall a certain past situation that happened along time ago, making it feel as though it happened just yesterday. If that is a good memory of a couple which made a song ‘their song’ then it can have a very positive affect on the couple.

What if a song reminds a person of an ex or a heartbreak of some kind ? This can possibly have a not so good effect on the relationship or put the person is a upset mood. The persons state of mind could be changed just because of the song that they are listing to causing them to possibly take it out on an other.

We encourage you to listen to a couple of songs before leaving your input on the subject. The question being do you believe in the power of music ? In a relationship ?
